In recent rumours and news, we all know and have heard about the rivalry between Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim, and in an interview earlier this week, Nicki Minaj quotes “When I See Your Name on a Billboard Ill Respond to You” and now in return we can now view and hear the new response from Lil Kim, ‘Black Friday’ a complete piss take of Nicki Minaj’s album title and song. The lyrics read “I’m turning pink Friday into Friday the 13th” – a clear threat. Since Nicki Minaj’s career kicked off, Lil Kim has released audios and songs relating to the conflict between the two hottest girls in R&B and hip-hop. Nicki Minaj’s new album consists one a track featuring Eminem – Roman’s Revenge. The song, In return, is perhaps not a clear, but indeed a threat to Lil’ Kim.

Nicki Minaj is proving to be very much liked by the younger generation, and seems to have a big influence on the youths of our time. Her new album has hit the charts by storm and her singles are proving to do just as well. In recent news and rumours, there has been a conflict between another R+B artist, ‘Lil Kim’, known most for her collaboration in the Moulin Rouge hit ‘lady marmalade’. Lil Kim has also released a new song, but with not so much of a great response. The single is named ‘Black Friday’, a title that mimics the successful album in which Nicki Minaj has created. The rivalry between artists becomes more clear through songs and lyrics, and we learn more and more about the hatred everyday.
